Moments ago, NordVPN just announced that they’re working on a VPN solution that will be aimed at helping businesses, teams and freelances instead of individual users suggestively called NordVPN Teams.
Almost 15,000 in need of a business VPN service
Reportedly, upon release, NordVPN Teams will pack the whole NordVPN experience that you’ve grown accustomed to, in order to provide business owners, small teams, freelancers and the such with everything they need: protection and convenience being of the essence in this case.
One of NordVPN’s representatives, CMO Marty P. Kamden, stated that NordVPN was originally developed to fulfill personal, individual needs, but the number of business clients is evergrowing, reaching almost 15,000 already, so the creation of a service that covers the needs of businesses and teams was imminent.
“Even though NordVPN is recognized and awarded as one of the best VPN services, initially it was created for personal needs. However, the number of our business clients is growing every day, and we wanted to create a product that can better meet their needs and expectations. That’s how NordVPN Teams was born.” ~ Marty P. Kamden, CMO at NordVPN.
The full NordVPN experience
The aim of this ambitious project is to keep NordVPN’s popular ease-of-use approach in place, but also give it the business spin so that it can meet the collectives’ expectations in a more effective manner.
Therefore, one of the new features within NordVPN Teams will be “effective access management.” While this might sound a bit fancy for novices, it actually means that a control panel will most likely be implemented and business clients will be able to add team members, manage permissions, organize groups of users, assign dedicated gateways, and even more, via this panel.
NordVPN Teams will still have some features from the original service (i.e., NordVPN), including but not limited to 256-bit military-grade encryption, a kill switch, automatic connection upon detecting a Wi-Fi connection, CyberSec, 24/7 customer support with a dedicated manager, and, of course, it will be available on all major platforms.
Sign up for early NordVPN Teams access
At the time being, NordVPN Teams is going through the closed beta stage, so it’s not available to the wider public. However, if you’re jumping in excitement, there is something you can do to alleviate your burning desire: sign up for early access.
Yes, you heard me right. Since the first version that will be publicly available is expected to be released later this year, you can head to the NordVPN Teams’ official website and sign up for early access.
